Somerset Day
Strongvox Celebrates Somerset Day
With restrictions for events and get-togethers still enforced until next week, May 11th was a slightly different celebration for the organisers behind Somerset Day, this year.
Yet they still managed to ensure #somersetday trended on Twitter (UK) for 10 hours and worked hard to make sure Somerset was covered in a sea of red and yellow flags. Social media was awash with followers sharing their love for the county and flying the Somerset flag – the Somerset Day Community Interest Company campaign for 2021.
Somerset born and bred, Strongvox proudly celebrated Somerset Day on Tuesday by flying the flag across all our sites in the County. After all our HQ is based in the county town!
Our Sales Director Simon Wade said:
“Somerset is often forgotten when visitors drive through to Devon and Cornwall, but in fact we have an abundance of things to see and do here. It’s the breadbasket of the UK and we are proud to build quality homes in some beautiful Somerset towns and villages which are loved by our buyers”.
At the beginning of the year Rightmove reported that Somerset was one of the most searched-for areas in the UK with people looking to explore country-life as a result of the pandemic. With several classified areas of outstanding natural beauty, beaches, towns filled with amazing independent businesses and some fabulous places to eat out – what’s not to like!
Strongvox have several sites across Somerset, with plans in place for future sites in some of the Counties ‘hotspots.
