Local school kids spend a day on site at The Pavilions, Brixham 11/01/2011

As part of a project in which the children are learning about property sales and  estate agency, children from years 5 & 6 from Eden Park Primary School in Brixham were treated to a fully guided tour of our new build development, The Pavilions at the former Brixham Cricket pitch. This included a visit to the 3 bedroom show home with Andrea Nippe, sales manager from Strongvox, after which they were shown the sales office with its plans of the whole site and the range of different property types being built from 2 bedroom apartments through to 4 bedroom detached houses.  Andrea explained how purchasers can reserve their home off plan, which is different from buying a second hand property, and how they can choose to personalise the finishes of their kitchens and bathrooms, plus the luxury of adding extra finishing touches such as wall mounted flat screen televisions and contemporary fireplaces. The children also had an opportunity to ask questions about selling and buying houses with Sue Saunders from Fulfords in Paignton, who are acting as the agents for the development.  The final part of the visit was a tour to the construction area with Brett Squance from the sales office and Joe Taylor, the Strongvox site manager, where the emphasis was on explaining construction processes and about the importance of managing everyone's safety on a building site where there are so many potential dangers.The visit concluded with a photo of Stingray class outside the front of the show home, and a few refreshments in the show home before returning to school refreshed and ready to start writing up some sales details for a house, and drawing floor plans to go with them, which is the next stage of their project.  Anyone interested in The Pavilions show home can call the sales office for further details and to arrange their viewing on 01803 852476 or email thepavilions@strongvox.co.uk
