Regency Mews - Taunton, Somerset
The Local Area

Ideally placed for exploring Exmoor, the Quantock Hills, and the stunning northern coast, Taunton enjoys a prime position. And everything you need is close to hand, from necessities such as doctors, dentists, schools, banks and a Post Office, to a stylish theatre, library and so much more.

When it comes to nightlife, Taunton boasts endless options. For those into a spot of culture, there's the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, whilst around 80 pubs present their own musical events. A diverse and vibrant collection of restaurants cater for the most discerning palate. And for those who'd rather head to the cinema, a smart cine complex provides 10 screens; and there's a bowling alley nearby.

If you're planning a day out with the family, the remains of Taunton Castle are well worth a visit (the site of Judge Jeffreys' 1685 Bloody Assizes, which ended the Monmouth Rebellion). The town's racecourse, and Somerset County Cricket Club, are also great places for all the family to enjoy.

For journeying throughout the UK, you're perfectly located; the nearby M5 gives easy access both north and south, and London can be reached by train in less than 3 hours. Rather escape the UK altogether? Then Bristol is the nearest airport, which isn't too far away either.

All in all, this is a wonderful place to live, especially in a delightful new Strongvox home!
