Telephone House, Taunton

A former British Telecom office building in the centre of Taunton, being surplus to requirements, was purchased unconditionally by Strongvox. Planning consent was subsequently secured for the buildings’ conversion into 70 flats and the entire building, once converted, was sold to the Sanctuary Housing Association supported by Taunton Deane Borough Council. Both the Housing Association and the Local Authority were delighted with the scheme; the building is now a residential community in the heart of Taunton, but more importantly, is providing much needed accommodation for the disabled and disadvantaged.
