Staplegrove Road, Taunton

Once the home of the ‘Bishop Fox’s Girls Grammar’ this lovely Edwardian building was previously occupied by the Somerset College of Arts & Technology.  Strongvox secured a conditional contract to purchase the building and obtain planning consent for its conversion and redevelopment in the knowledge that this would be a lengthy and challenging process.  The design team secured the approval of the redevelopment after lengthy local consultation and negotiations with English Heritage; the principal Edwardian structure is now converted into an office, the remainder of the site mirrors the local vernacular and provides 23 town houses.
